This position will report to the Accounting Manager.
This position has the opportunity of becoming a permanent role within a 6-month timespan based on performance and need.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Process weekly payroll cycles, process All garnishments to ADP for processing.
Verify and post details of business transactions, such as Accounts Receivable/Payables, and total accounts to databases Assist and follow up with clients by answering questions related to account balances.
Monitor customer/vendor accounts to ensure that balances/payments are up to date Balance and reconcile statements against payer remittances and reports in ERP system Perform filing and general administrative tasks Processes and records a variety of fiscal transactions in accordance with GAAP accounting principles.
Provide reporting to Corporate when requested.
Perform administrative duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards Excellent Communication Skills Attention to details, fast learner Embrace the spirit of teamwork and able to multi-task various duties Professional Attitude Full knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, and Excel) EDUCATION High school diploma or Equivalent Required 2 - 3 years of administrative, clerical, secretarial and customer service 2 - 3 years of general accounting experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS Typically sits, grasps items, and performs keyboarding for regular operation of a computer.
Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about regularly.
Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs.
