Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description:
A great school near Emporia, VA is actively seeking candidates for a Speech Language Pathologist position.
The therapist will work full-time providing speech-related services to a pediatric caseload.

Responsibilities: Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Complete screenings to determine if students qualify for speech-related services.
Use software and other technology for note taking and recording IEP data.
Knowledge of Augmentative & Alternative Communication devices and can assist students with using high and low-tech devices.
Present at IEP meeting and collaborate with teachers and other therapists on the best course of treatment for students on caseload Performs other speech related duties assigned by the SLP supervisor.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
